NUS ( Singapore) MBA Program Structure
Program Structure: Students are required to complete 68 modular credits to graduate, comprising 32 compulsory core modular credits, and 36 elective modular credits (MCs). Each "full module" earns four MCs, while half modules earn 2 MCs. A four MC module meets for 14 3-hour sessions. As with all MBA programs, students will spend significant amounts of time daily to work on individual assignments, group projects, case studies, quizzes and term papers. Some modules will also have final examinations.
The NUS MBA is a 17-months, three-semester MBA program. Students are encouraged to participate in a semester-long exchange during their second semester, and in internships at the end of their first year.
All students will be assigned to fixed cohorts and core modules in their first semester. In all subsequent semesters, students will be provided the flexibility to customize their program to fit their own preferred pace and specialization.
Curriculum: Core modules deal with topics and concepts that provide the foundations of a general management education. These modules equip students with the basic, essential skills required by a manager to succeed in business . Students may further develop their interest in specialised areas or broaden their management skills through the many elective modules offered within the Business School or in NUS.
